What IS this place?

Welcome!

This blog aims to be a little bit like having a real-life conversation with me.  I have the attention span of a 3-year-old (and I have a 3-year-old, so I know what I’m talking about) so I like to hop from topic to topic, talk fast, laugh at my own jokes, and fit in as many fun facts in a minute as you will let me, on any given variety of topics.

I am all about choosing happiness, loving life, and having a healthy relationship with food.  

One thing all of the topics you’ll see have in common is that they interest me and therefore make me happy… and positivity is good for our health!  (Science says so, I check my facts).

I’m Anna, a stay-at-home Christian wife and mother and part-time student, with 2 beautiful kidlets.  I’m cruising through the second half of my 20s, and started this blog as a way to keep writing, and share recipes, thoughts and stories.

I love being busy – the more I have to do, the more productive I am since I don’t have time to procrastinate!  I love cooking, baking and, obviously, eating…reading, painting, studying, shopping, walking in beautiful places, and spending time with family.

I love smelling clean baby necks, chopping fresh herbs, grocery shopping, picking on people with bad grammar, playing Trivial Pursuit, shoes, finding out people’s middle names, and trying on wild sunglasses I will never buy.

I hope you’ll enjoy visiting, and I hope you feel comfortable enough to share stories of your own with me!  I’d love to hear from you, and learn about you and from you – toss out a comment whenever you can identify with something, or if you totally disagree with something, or there’s something you’d like to see on here!
